Rate Measure

It is common practice for athletes to take their heart rate after a workout. If you run a track interval or performing an exercise routine aerobics, this method is often used to control the intensity of exercise.
If you are part of an exercise group, common procedure is to wait until everyone has located their pulse (often 15 seconds or less) and then to within six, 10 or 15 seconds while all the accounts of their own heartbeats. A is then multiplied by the number required (10, 6 and 4, respectively) to reach a late-value per minute.
However, research has shown that this procedure underestimates the heart rate for the time elapsed after the cessation of exercise. Indeed, low heart rate very quickly after the end of the year. This is particularly true for trained athletes.
MANUAL PULSE measurement study
A study by the University of Texas Austin investigated rate manual measurement methods by comparing heart real heart rates measured by an ECG. The subjects performed sessions exercise at 70% or 85% of your maximum heart rate. Wait 15 seconds after the end of the session, then counting your pulse for 15 seconds and is multiplied by four to get your beats per minute count.
At the same time, an ECG measures your heart rate made at three different times: during the in the last 10 seconds of exercise, in the first 15 seconds after exercise, then 15 seconds after that.
The manual measurements and results ECG were compared.
RESULTS
The study revealed several things:
1. Both the ECG and manual measurements - if taken after the year ended - Underestimated the heart rate reached during the final 10 seconds of the workout.
2. Even the ECG taken immediately after exercise was heart rate that was 7.9 beats per minute less than the rate during exercise. This is because the heart rate drops dramatically once the exercise ends - Especially for trained athletes.
3. The longer the wait before taking the pulse, the least accurate measurement.
4. Manual of measuring pulse rate were fairly accurate, although the radial (wrist) the method is less accurate heart rates above the neck cartotid () method. The radial method produced results that were too low by about 10 beats per minute.
CONCLUSIONS
1. The best way to measure heart rate of exercise is measured during exercise. Using a heart rate monitor is the best.
2. You can measure manually, after exercise, as long as add a correction factor (see below). Measurement in the carotid pulse is generally more accurate, provided they do not press too, which can stimulate carotid sinus reflex and decrease heart rate.
3. The sooner you can take the measurement will be more accurate.
4. A six seconds or 10-second measurement period will probably be more accurate than a period of 15 seconds because they give less time to recover heart.
CORRECTION FACTOR Counting rates after EXERCISE PULSE
By measuring heart rate after exercise, either manually or with a rate monitor rate:
1. Add 10 beats per minute if measured in 10 seconds.
2. Add 20 beats per minute if measured after 15 seconds.
These are the numbers of stage, but you can not expect the field measurements to be exact. To obtain a reading practice on stress levels, it is best to combine estimates of heart rate with their own comments on perceived exertion.

Real Exchange Rate Behavior in Arab Countries
$80.7 The main purpose of this research is to analyze the behavior of the Real Exchange Rate (RER) in 11 Arab countries over the period 1971-2001. A model based on the work of Edwards (1989) for RER fundamentals was investigated to determine the equilibrium level of the real exchange rate (ERER). The results show that for most Arab countries RER moves along the ERER in the last decade better than two decades before. Another objective of this study was the investigation of the effects of misalignment in RER (RERMIS) on some macroeconomic indicators in Arab countries, specifically, real GDP growth rate and the gross investment. This misalignment was evaluated using three different measures (a measure utilizes the black market exchange rate; a measure uses the expectation of the Purchasing Power Parity theory, and the model, which is based on the results of Edwards' model for estimating the equilibrium level of RER). This study confirms the results of previous research about the negative effect of RERMIS on different economic indicators especially the growth rate of the real GDP. |
