What is the best way to mount the speakers extra door on 2000 Grand Marquis?
I just purchased 4 5 1 / 4 speakers and wanted to mount them on the door, but I wondered where the best location would be? I was thinking about area rugs, but let me know any other spots% http://www.autoclinix.com/Mercury/Front 20Speakers2.htm
They probably will not fit into those places. If they do, they will look and sound stupid unless your making a new door panel custom. Why are you putting more speakers in it anyway? if I were you, I'd like to buy some speakers 5×7 and replace component values. Mount the tweeter somewhere convenient, as a pillar of a file. it would sound better. However, if you put the speakers in the door, you're going to have to have an amplifier additional run them all as you can not run away from your head unit or the factory system. Do not be one of those people who think that by adding more speakers who will make a good sound. In fact, only make it sound bad. Beat and get crappy speakers to compensate for the space needed to mount the door panel. Go buy some speakers and component speakers JL zr570 CSI or some of the great coaxial speakers.
