I heard that 5 minutes of jump rope jump has the same health benefit a jog of 20 minutes, is this true desire thinkers or just something for us? Thanks!
I do not have the equivalent of 20-minutes, but any who has ever used a jump rope cardio say that is a murderer. A lot of football players and boxers bulge religiously. Definitely recommend it.

Probably 50 jumps per day for a month. If you try hard maybe I could gain 2 inches a month. (24 in one year) =)

The jump rope, one of the most seductive tools of boxing. I remember seeing the first Rocky movie seeing Sylvester Stallone twirling the rope so fast I could not even see, and thought "Man that is impressive."
His style and grace were perfect, but one thing that Rocky had wrong.
He was jumping rope in his boxing shoes. Now this may look great for television, but I learned the hard way that what you see While in Hollywood, does not always work in the real world. Because if you jump rope in boxing shoes or any other pair of shoes that are not adequately filled flat foot, the shins are hurts like you know what the next day.
When I started jumping rope tried to use some running shoes (Nike Air Max, I love these shoes). They were great for running because they have added support and cushion for your heels, but not doing a damn thing when I got to the rope because there is little cushion for the flatfoot.
The best shoes you can get for jumping rope are the cross trainers and basketball shoes.
You see when you jump rope around her body weight is concentrated in the toes. And these shoes offer enough cushion and support in this area to absorb shock forces and save the shins.
Before you jump rope make sure you have the right shoes and shins will thank you.
