Cello finger exercise techniques for the advanced player?

I've been playing the cello at about 7 years for the summer still have been receiving a little rusty and my fingers do not move so fast. I love to play fast pieces, but my fingers can not keep up. I know there are books out there method, but there are many. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something very integral to help with agility, speed, position, etc. Thanks!

In all honesty, I do not use method books. I practice scales and broken thirds and arpgeggios with the metronome in increasing increments, along with rhythmic variations. I also practice of the piece add a note, metronome, and rhythmic variation. In addition, once a day, play it fast, without stopping, no matter how bad that sounds.
