How can I dye or color of the straps of my black bikini? Can I use a permanent marker?

I just bought a bikini and I love it, except the straps that tied around his neck and back are bright blue and I hate that. It's not as big of a space to do so could perhaps use a bookmark black permanent? Are you going out on the water or fade? I have nothing to dyeing with what could be done … I really want to make them white or black. Thank you!

Although really would not recommend it, you can use a permanent marker - just be sure to wash your hands afterwards to get the excess ink out. Because I have not tried it myself, in Depending on the type of place to swim, the marker may eventually fade, but only removed a dark purple. What usually so for the fabric is dyed Ritz dye, which can be found almost anywhere, including Walmart. Black would be the safest way to go - that would be difficult if not impossible, obtain white ribbons, without merging with the blue after a series of swims and washed.
