Do you have an electronic signature are simply writing my name in the field required or other measures are needed?

I am signing an employment contract with a partner and an electronic signature is an option to sign the agreement (living in separate states). Can I write my name in the required field or will I have sign and then scan the copy in an e-mail? Thanks for your help. … and "other measures", do I have to sign the handmade paper and then scan The digital document?

Each entity is different. I call and ask them what is acceptable.
