It is the resistance of the Bowflex Power bars the same as the weight of free weights?
I've heard rumors that the amount of weight you can do with a Bowflex technology energy bar is not equal to the amount that can be done with free spirits. This is difficult to describe, and probably harder to understand, so here's an example: If I can bench 210 on a Bowflex, I can bench 210, a regular free weight bench? I do not have access to all free weights, so can not verify for myself … so help please?
My understanding that the power to increase the resistance of the bars and lean more. Initially no weight. But as that changes the position of the arm with weights, take advantage of changes that affect the resistance of some, too. Just keep increasing the strength of the bar of 5-10%. It is increasingly strong. Try doing push-ups with one hand and various arm positions. The more you can do in all positions the stronger you are.
