I am currently doing 176 pounds for seated calf raise. I'm 17. 167cm. Is this too little? I wanting to make the calf more defined.

I think 176 pounds is pretty decent. When creating an exercise program I did in the past was find my max. The more weight you can lift that muscle group once. Once I found my Max then representatives of my regular exercise in 75% of my maximum weight. This is the best way to determine the most weight to be effective. Also, use different ways to exercise the calf. You can use free weights also STALLION. The best next thing is to lift the stretch. Remember to stretch at least 5 minutes between each set of repetitions. Stretching helps maintain muscle length and thin.

How do I maintain my weight fall from my bar weight?

How can I keep the weight from sliding off? I have a bar that weighs 20 pounds and is a thin bar. I have a couple, but the clips that are too large for the bar, so it's not a tight fit. What can I do?

I do not suggest continue to lift weights so unstable, you could hurt yourself or any cat unfortunate that might happen to pass under some dishes falling!, but until either buy a new bar or find the right clips try using some heavy tape.
